Welcome to the Leadership Inc. website. The website serves two purposes. First, it provides a description of Leadership Inc. services. Second, it includes recent Leadership Inc. publications and articles.

Over the next year, the website will present findings from a two year study of political appointees in the Obama Administration. I had the unique experience of interviewing 24 top level Obama officials at three points during their tenure. The project will result in a book, Paths to Making a Difference: Leading in Government, to be published by Rowman & Littlefield in January 2012. We hope that the book will be informative and useful to new political appointees as they arrive in Washington.
